Oops

I just realized that there is etiquette associated here with subscribing to different journals too. (Apparently you should comment on their posts after doing so.) Not just with granting access. I subscribed to a bunch of journals recently so apologies if you're one of those people coming here and wondering who this person is. I'm from Tumblr.

Nah, it's fine. If they don't specifically ask for it, it's not some huge breach of etiquette -- it's just that people might be naturally curious if there isn't some obvious thing.

(If this comment piques your natural curiosity, I'm here from Latest!)

I subscribed to you yesterday, I think, when I saw that you had subscribed to me. Subscriptions assure that the subscriber will see the subscribee's public posts. Granting access assures that the person will see your protected posts, as well. For example, if you just want to see my public stuff (vid announcements), then subscribing is enough. If you want to see the primordial soup that is my brain, beyond vid announcements, then you need access. hee

(You probably knew that, but some friends didn't, so... Hi!!)

I feel like right now people are expecting a big onslaught of new followers due to the Tumblr thing and are less likely to be all WHY ARE YOU FRIENDING ME STRANGER!
